An alternate off the classic Bull Mountain Loop
Mountain Biking Severe
This alternate off the Bull Mountain Loop is filled with babyhead-sized rocks, earning it the local name of "Babyheads." Even after being cleaned up, there's no removing all of the babyheads from this old road grade-turned singletrack trail.
Lance Creek is a great alternative for shaving some total elevation gain and distance off the classic Bull Mountain loop, but it doesn't necessarily make it easier. This is a stiff, arduous climb that many riders won't be able to clean.
Severe
Widely variable, narrow trail tread with steeper grades and unavoidable obstacles of 15in/38cm tall or less. Obstacles may include unavoidable bridges 24in/61cm wide or less, large rocks, gravel, difficult root sections, and more. Ideal for advanced-level riders.
