Very steep and rocky trees
Freeride Skiing Severe
Rex's Rib is a real treat. It has consistently steep and gnarly trees that you don't often get at Bridger Bowl. It doesn't fill in until later in the year, and can be sporty even then. It requires lots of hop turns and being in control. It can get sun baked, especially later, but can hold amazing snow mid season and after a wetter snow. You get to Rex's by going further skier's left once you are into the top of Job 2, or by heading right from the upper parts of Job 3. The latter is a more technical approach. Once here, you will have it all before your eyes; just barely off fall line turns, working to the left for 600 feet. Have fun, but beware of sluffs, rocks, and pecker trees that may make your descent more difficult. Rex's runs out into the bottom of Job 2 and the into the Z Fan.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
