Freeride Skiing Severe
This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be severe. It's remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done in January, February and April. From a low point of 2.5 km to the maximum altitude of 2.8 km, the route covers 397 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 255 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins and crampons to complete it safely.
Sideways Shuffle is a great option for corn skiing as it gets sun baked in the spring. You can access it but skiing down Skyline for about 400 ft and then leaning right. The top section doesn’t go directly down the fall line so it can be pretty nerve racking.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
