Long traverse across South Bowl from the top of Pierre's
Freeride Skiing Moderate
This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's not remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between November and June. From a low point of 2.3 km to the maximum altitude of 2.4 km, the route covers 630 m, 8 vertical metres of ascent and 60 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.2 and Labande grade 2.
The South Bowl Traverse heads North along the top of the South Bowl from the top of Pierre's chair. It gets you to the top of Emil's, and all the other tree skiing to the North. It ends near the outrun of Psychopath.
