The UnNamable Buttress is a pretty technical, rocky zone. There will usually be great snow in here, but it may be lying on top of steep rock faces. It just doesn't seem to hold the snow like other parts of the mountain. On big snow years, this place is great. Early in the season, you will want to be very careful in this area, make your turns like you're going to hit rocks. It holds cold snow all season long and doesn't get sluffed off by patrol. Ski down Ravine South, heading left just before Trolley Chute. Make your way down towards the gut of Slushman's Ravine. There can be a few small and medium sized drops, but you can ski around most of these.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
