The Desert Canyons mountain bike trail system is home to the newest tracks built near the city of St. George. The main trailhead is known as the "Secret Sauce Trailhead," and from here, you can pedal the fun, flowy beginner trail by the same name.

Description

While most of the trails close to the Secret Sauce Trailhead are relatively easy, Secret Sauce itself is the least technical. In fact, it might be one of the smoothest singletrack trails in the entire region!

But just because it's smooth doesn't mean it's boring. The trail builders did a fantastic job of infusing a delightful kinesthetic flow into this singletrack loop, the trail bobbing and weaving through the desert landscape. As you round the small hillside, the views transform, keeping you constantly engaged on this fantastic little beginner trail.

If you finish Secret Sauce with ease and are itching for more, either pedal it a second time or try out the nearby Claimjumper and Pushing Tin trails. Both of these trails are a fair bit rockier and more technical, but those short rocky sections are over quickly and can easily be walked.
