Angel Food Map

Angel Food is a wide hardwood glade that sees a lot of traffic. This wide swath of woods is usually the first place locals go on a powder day. From the top of the gondola, ski down Chin Clip. After the first third of the trail, look for a sign to your left that reads “not patrolled”. This is your entry point. Traverse out along a narrow path until you see a bench in the woods, pass this and look for a wooden sign that reads Angel Food. Angel Food begins with a tight chute that quickly opens to widely spaced hardwoods, perfect for swinging long powder turns. As you make your way down, look for a traverse to skiers right, if you continue fall line, you will end up on the Notch Road. If you follow the traverse, you gain a long, low angle ridge that drops you off over by where they keep the grooming machines, either way, make your way back to the parking lot and walk to the gondola
