Freeride Skiing Difficult
This run is a thigh burner. Starting on Upper Ferk's, enter through the trees to a broad open face. On skier's left, the gully that gives this run its name carves a shallow trench below a summer road that crosses this slope. Watch for this road early season before it fills in. An old mine shaft once poked up in this gully, but has since been removed. Enjoy the shallow ribs and glades on either side.
Difficult
Serious gradient of 30-38 degrees where a real risk of slipping exists.
