Freeride Skiing Difficult
A steep, narrow face between the trees with a slanting fall line, K2 Face is actually part of the old Chair 5 chairline. Now accessed only through the Bear Pits Shot 1 gate, K2 Face is rarely skied. On a day when the rest of the area is tracked out, K2 Face offers a few good turns. Watch out for small alpine firs that are beginning to grow up and will eventually make this secret stash irrelevant.
