Description

A short open face on the far skiers left of Powder Bowl, Water Wings offers 400-500 feet of vertical to the cat track below. Watch the transition to the cat track, as it can be a large drop off here. Water Wings is often untracked due to difficult access and the loss of vertical compared to the rest of Powder Bowl. Water Wings also faces east, thus getting more sun than the rest of the bowl. On powder days, when everything else is tracked up, head to Water Wings for open turns. While the run is fairly easy for Powder Bowl, the access along the ridge can be challenging.
