The most straight forward and simple route to ski Mt. Shuksan is the approach from the Mt. Baker Ski Area parking lot via Chair 8. The White Salmon Glacier on Mt. Shuksan is the closest alpine descent to the lot and can be used to access other parts of Shuksan including the Northwest Couloir.
