Starting at the Visitor Information Centre follow the signs to Old Faithful along the wooden boardwalks. You will soon enter the Upper Geyser Basin and Biscuit Basin which host the largest collection of geysers in the world, including the original geyser Old Faithful, made famous by its frequent, huge eruptions. Along the 10km walk you will also come across stinky sulphur pools, bubbling mud pools and lots of other visitors. As Yellowstone brings in over 4 million visitors and Old Faithful is perhaps the most famous attraction, you may find it hard to get a good view! So we recommend that you begin your walk later in the day to avoid the crowds.
