With Lake Annecy on the doorstep and the legendary mountains of the Haute Savoie all around, finding exceptional road biking in Annecy is pretty straightforward. The only "problem" with cycling in Annecy is choosing routes from the thousands of roads and lanes that surround the town.
These 4 routes (1 classic time trial, 2 long day rides and a 3 day cruise between a couple of famous lakes) are some of the very best that the area has to offer. If you've completed them you are likely to have spotted a lifetime's worth of other routes to do, but you'll at least have made a start on what this exceptional area has to offer. So many rides, so little time!
