The Alice Rawson Run Map

The run begins at the top of Alice Rawson Peak, with options limited from the top as result of the large rocky outcrops, head east or north east from the peak to get an easy access, either way won't affect your ability to ski the run down. On the way down, there are two large granite outcrops which are best to be avoided as the drops on the other side are greater than you would expect. You can either ski around the drops to the north or the south, if you head south you'll be able to see the lower part of the run from the southern outcrop. That being said there is an awesome stretch of fall line to the north east and is the most obvious choice, and once at the end of this line you can either head down skiers right down to the creek, or traverse to the left to another steep gully which falls deeper into Lady Northcote Canyon. Both variations have about 550 metres of vertical, which is one of the greatest you'll find in Australia. The best return route is to boot pack up the Racecourse Runs or take the Lady Northcote Return route shown on the map.
