This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's not remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between November and April. From a low point of 1.7 km to the maximum altitude of 2.9 km, the route covers 5.1 km, 1191 vertical metres of ascent and 2 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins to complete it safely.
Description
This easy and relatively avalanche-safe tour offers a consistently beautiful descent on ideally inclined, moderately steep terrain. Navigation is not difficult, and there is usually a good track already in place. Thus, the Lampsenspitze is a very popular ski mountain.
