Fred -> Tinder -> Your Mom Map

The combination of Fred, Tinder, and Your Mom is known throughout Squamish as a match made in cyberspace. This fantastic three-trail combination can be ridden on its own, shortened to just Tinder and Your Mom (although that isn't nearly as fun), or you can add on bonus mileage with some trails higher up. Either way, if you swipe right on Your Mom you're in for a fun roll in the woods.

Description

The climb to the top follows a combination of the Stl'halem Sintl' climbing trail and the Ring Creek forest service road. But once there, Fred begins with a vengeance! You'll drop in steeply and negotiate a few steep rock rolls and chunky bits with a couple of short bridges spanning potential boggy bits. A few spots on Fred offer alt lines to choose from, letting you choose your own adventure as you rip down the mountain.

Tinder and Your Mom are both known as two of the flowier trails in Squamish, but they are far from being "flow" trails. Tinder features some fast, wide-open singletrack running through a burn area, some sections of flowy trail, and even a few fun jumps. Unfortunately, Tinder also requires some work: you need to put in the effort if you want to get the reward from Your Mom. After a bit of a climb out of the valley and a steep push up a short hike-a-bike section, you'll get to the top of Your Mom.

After the work on Tinder, Your Mom finishes quickly. This fast, flowing downhill consists of classic singletrack with a few sharp turns as you rip back down toward the trailhead. You'll find a few rocks and a few roots mixed into the flow, but it's all a part of the fun when on this high-speed ending to the ride.

There are a few options for reaching the finish, including a couple of advanced moves and a couple of easier routes. The route shown here keeps the character ride character consistent all the way to the end, leaving you with a fantastic high after one of Squamish's great rides!
