This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done between November and March. From a low point of 1.3 km to the maximum altitude of 2.7 km, the route covers 18 km, 2244 vertical metres of ascent and 2259 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 4.2 and Labande grade 5. You'll need skins, ice axe and crampons to complete it safely.
