Certainly best after recent snowfall (lower slopes lose snow quickly). From top of Le Chatillon button lift, head 10m over the top. Drop down bearing right and avoiding the natural dip. Moving to the skiers right will reveal a path through the trees which lasts about 50m. Opening up at a farmhouse. Pick a line down the meadows. There is a road that zigzags up through the meadows which may need to be traversed. Finish at the valley floor and find a free bus back to the ski lifts. In heavy snow, it is possible to skate all the way back.
