Croix de Toulouse via bois de l'ours

Starting from the Place de l'Europe, this itinerary brings you to the very panoramic and picturesque Croix de Toulouse. Steep climb on a small road up to Poet Ollagnier. The ascent gets a lot of sun, it can get really hot in the summer. The descent is on a beautiful single track, a bit technical but never extreme, demanding full attention at times. A couple of very tight switchbacks add to the fun. One of these switchbacks has a drop. Lots of hikers on the descent trail. Start early or late to avoid the crowds.
