Chardonnet Couloir Map

The Chardonnet couloir offers excellent couloir skiing. The snow here is often good for a long time thanks to its northerly aspect. From the top of the chair a short hike leads to the col. From the col the couloir starts relatively steeply but never extreme (40 degrees) and gradually widens as the gradient eases off. Continue down the fall line and head right to join the lac piste.

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
