This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be easy. It's not remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between December and May. From a low point of 2.1 km to the maximum altitude of 3 km, the route covers 4.1 km, 2 vertical metres of ascent and 924 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.3 and Labande grade 2.

The Langue du Glacier is a small off-piste escape from the galley of La Grande Motte to Val Claret along the right track "Double M".
