From the top station of the Bettaforca chairlift, descend to the left, follow the beaten track onto the Betta 1 piste. At the first flat section, turn left off-piste to a small col. A short climb (20 minutes) leads you to the top of a beautiful ridge where the view of the Monte Rosa is magnificent. Descend on the ridge (southeast) until the slope becomes steeper, then turn left (north) onto a nice slope - be careful not to stray too far left because the slope is steeper here and there is a high risk of avalanches in the wrong conditions. At the bottom of the slope rejoin the Bettolina classic itinerary and follow it down to the valley.

Difficulty

Moderate

Slopes become slightly steeper at around 25-30 degrees.

Low Exposure (E1)

1 out of 4

Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.

Remoteness

4 out of 4

In the high mountains or remote conditions, all individuals must be completely autonomous in every situation.
