A hidden gem
Ski Touring Severe
From Indren traverse on your right and pass Mantova refuge, ski down the first bowl, continue to traverse and stop when you reach the flat part just before entering Salza. From here put your skins and go up towards Altaluce- it is a true gem for freeriders. It's hidden into the mountains and is not so easy to reach, so usually nobody ski this amazing line. You will ski a steep face first then you will enter the large slopes of Salza finishing in the woods near Stafal. During winter it is not much exposed to the sun so the snow is often incredible. Be careful of the wind- it can create piles of unstable snow, so be careful before entering. This run is exposed over big cliffs so extra precautions!
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
