From Quintino Sella skin up a bit further and traverse the glacier, be careful it's full of seracs. Continue traversing until you spot a rock ridge on your left, here the slope will get steeper. Carefully ski down and keep to your right to bypass a first rock bar. Traverse hard left to reach the ridge, here there is a possibility you need to do a 20m rappel to pass this cliff. At the bottom of the couloir you cruise into the woods reaching Stafal.
