Short but scenic couloir, a great option for entry into the Salza valley.
Ski Touring Severe
This couloir is a great challenge for rookie steep skiers, short in length but steep at 45°.
Follow the Salza valley itinerary until you reach the Salza col. Pass by it and cut left, going down until you reach the lower Salza col. Head upwards on the diagonal towards the East on the Gabiet side to reach the ridge from the Telcio. Climb along it for 20 minutes to an obvious peak. Keep the summit on the left to reach the entrance of the couloir. It is steep and narrow in the beginning but opens up onto to upper slope of the Salza valley. Follow the Salza itinerary to the bottom.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
