This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's extremely remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done between June and July. From a low point of 3.9 km to the maximum altitude of 4.3 km, the route covers 777 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 361 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 5.2 and Labande grade 6. You'll need rope, skins and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

On the south face of the man eater ridge starts this steep couloir. Exposed to ice fall from the hanging seracs which this couloir cuts into, it drops into the very beginning of "Valle Perduta"
