Calcheira classic

From the top of Costaccia cablecar follow the "Costaccia" piste for 500 metres, then leave the piste just before the crossroad with the blue "Valandria" piste. Go left off the piste and find the best way through the trees, staying skiers right if in doubt. There are some areas where the trees get quite tight so avoid these sections where possible. Towards the end of the run some smaller bushes could be a problem if there is not much snow. Once nearly at the valley floor and the river, follow the path going rightwards out of Val Federia until you reach the road. Either wait for a bus or walk to the Casana cable car. If there is plenty of snow, it is possible to ski along the road back to the Casana cable car.
