Description

Technically, there are several different options for the Biketicket 2 Ride Tour, providing different difficulty levels and different lengths. The Blue Tour is 39km long and requires a stamina of 3/5 and technique of 2/5. The Red Tour is 42km long and requires a stamina of 4/5 and technique of 3/5. Finally, mapped here is the Black Tour, which is roughly 64.5km long and requires a stamina of 5/5 and technique of 5/5.

The general Biketicket 2 Ride tour begins in Lenzerheide and takes the lifts up to the mountaintop to the east, high above treeline. Riders then get to drop into an absolutely stunning trail that descends through the alpine, dropping down almost all the way to the town of Arosa, and another lift. "Scree, boulders, some green mosses and grasses, the occasional patch of snow, and a trickling stream were our only company in this harsh, unforgiving, yet jaw-droppingly beautiful landscape," according to an article on Singletracks.com.

Another lift ride up, and the ride down through the alpine is again simply stunning! The trail is flowy with black crushed rock, optional jumps, and plenty of rock gardens to keep the challenge up.

After a killer descent, the route traverses over to Chur, dropping down to the route's low point. This is a great spot to stop for lunch.

From Chur, a two-lift combo gets riders back up the mountain. A technical descent through a deep, dark forest on gnarly fall line trails brings riders to Churwalden, and another lift ride up.

Another descent down brings riders to the Piz Scalottas zone on the west side of Lenzerheide. Here, the same two-lift combination delivers riders to a variety of descents. While it's possible at other points in the route, here especially riders can choose to either extend their tour or shorten it based on the time available and the stamina of the group.

The Bike Ticket 2 Ride Tour is "epic" in every sense of the word. Buy your ticket now!
