Mont Gele - Bouquetin Map

The Mont Gele couloirs are Verbier classics and whilst they may be easily accessible they should not be underestimated. Good and sure snow conditions are required. The Bouquetin couloir is a great natural line with opions to exit towards La Chaux or the pistes from Attelas towards Ruinettes. If you have your steep ski technique fully dialled and conditions are right, these are definitely worth a look. From the top of the Mont-Gele lift station, turn right and traverse the slope, following the ridge line on the south side. The entrance to the couloir is at 2930m. Follow the couloir directly down to join the piste or traverse out right and across the ridge using a broad shoulder to join the top of the La Chaux 2 lift.
