Mont Gele - North Couloirs Lake Side Map

The Mont Gele couloirs are Verbier classics and whilst they may be easily accessible they should not be underestimated. Good and sure snow conditions are required. The couloirs descending towards the lake are the least steep of the North facing couloirs. Leave the lift station and turn left to traverse across under the summit of Mont Gele. Reach the ridge and descend the ridge until you reach the start of the couloirs. There are two options ski direct in the main couloir or a gentle descending traverse to the left. Join the groomed road the joins the Attelas and Chassoure lift stations.
