Ricochet is a black diamond tech trail that’s approachable by advanced mountain bikers and upper intermediate riders looking to push their limits. Rocks, roots, and optional drops are the name of the game, with a few low berms helping riders maintain their momentum down the run.

Description

Like usual, the soil itself is classic Mammoth Mountain, consisting of dry, loose, dirt and sand between rough volcanic rocks. Much of this trail lies beneath a tall canopy of pine trees, which helps provide a little shelter to the soil… but it’s still quite dry.
