Freeride Skiing Difficult
This run offers a similar experience to West Twin with less wind drifts. It is open at the top, but you can enter some fun trees at the bottom. Snow can be great or wind affected. Flattens out at the bottom just like West Twin and may require a push back to the Windows.
From the top of the Mercury Super Chair, head all the way up the peak 9 access road until you reach the ski area boundary gate. Continue hiking towards the peak 9 summit, crossing the runs of upper and lower Broadway. After about 400 meters, you will see an area to drop in on the right that puts you on top of a roll, almost staring at the peak 8 bowl. Find a good spot where you can get rolling, and take it in between the sets of trees. East Twin Chute is the longer of the two steep peak 9 chutes, but also does not have as much pitch. Keep your speed up toward the bottom as you will need to cut hard right to follow the windows run back to chair E. Early in the season, be careful of the sometimes wind blown right side of east twin chute, there can also be more exposure for rocks and other obstacles.
