Freeride Skiing Moderate
To get on top of upper Broadway, continue hiking along the rope line headed west from the ski area boundary gate. Continue the hike for approx. 200 meters, and you will notice two ways to head down. The left side is the high side, littered with wind lips, cornices, and deep snow pockets. To the right is the low side, and will be much flatter and have opportunities to access windows #6 and windows #7 as well. Stay left and exit through the run West Broadway, or hop into the East Twin Chute if you are really hugging left. Make sure you are on your toes on the way down as tight sections of trees can either throw you off, or throw you into powder chutes. The run out is long and flat, but well worth it on the right snow day. Just be careful of the top of the run on a windy day, as it may expose more rocks. Please understand that this run has a lot of dead spots due to the overall slope angle.
Moderate
Slopes become slightly steeper at around 25-30 degrees.
