Freeride Skiing Difficult
Chute 5 is a lot like chutes 6 and 4. You start out with wide open skiing above the Skier's Traverse, then head in to pretty widely spaced trees for a couple hundred feet before meeting a small rock band and Dick's Cliffs, or heading North over to the Ohhhh's. Hike from Bridger chair North past the Skier's Traverse to after the second bump. The upper part of this line can get sun baked, but the trees will usually stay cold. Beware the small rock band above Dick's early in the season, there will be numerous rocks.
Difficult
Serious gradient of 30-38 degrees where a real risk of slipping exists.
