Pat's Chute Map

Pat's chute is one of the best lines at Schlasman's. It is a South facing, 500ft fall line chute between rock walls with a cave at the bottom. It gets down to about 20ft wide near the bottom, but is pretty wide for most of it. It gets a lot of traffic, and gets pretty moguled out. Spring corn is probably the best conditions to get Pat's in. It usually won't get sluffed out on a powder day, but it takes a pretty potent storm to make the bumps disappear. You will see the top of Pat's as you are about to get off the Schlasman's chair, it's the notch between rocks. You can either ski South or North from the top of the chair, wrapping around to get to Pat's. You will be able to see down the whole thing from the top, start skiing and have fun! Stop at the cave on the left as you get back out into the open for a breather or a great sunny lunch.
