Test Face Map

Test Face is a nice steep run that gets skied often it is a North facing shot that will always hold great snow. Early on a powder morning, this is a great bet for some awesome turns. From the mid traverse in the High Traverse, just after the bottom of exit chute, ski fall line or just a little skier's right through one of many tree chutes that are about 100ft long. These will open up onto Test Face, and a few steep turns can be had. The skier's right side is steeper and longer, while on the left, there is a great rock to pop off of. Test face then becomes more of a shoulder above avalanche gulch, flattening out as you ski left towards the gulch, or right to the bottom of the Whirlpools.
