Ridgeline Trail Map

Ridgeline is a historic trail in Dupont State Forest, but in recent years it has been completely rerouted and re-built into a beginner-friendly flow trail descent. While the berms are relatively low and none of the jumps are intimidating this flow trail has quickly become not only one of the most popular trails in the greater Brevard, NC area, but one of the most talked about flow trails in the country!

Description

The flow trail descent is perfect beginner-friendly flow style, with superb speed management—not too fast, not too slow. The trail tread is smooth and non-technical, and overall it is a joy to ride! Advanced riders will have a blast on the low tabletops, and the occasional double option appears if your speed is high enough. It's not uncommon for riders to loop this trail two or three times in one ride—it's just that good.

The route shown here loops the Ridgeline flow trail, finishing with the flowy descent, but parts of the climb are more difficult than the rating given here. The only thing this trail really lacks for is an easier climbing route to the top to become a true beginner loop.
