Short bowl skiing littered with cliffs
Ski Touring Difficult
A short backcountry bowl that is littered with cliffs to jump and short chutes to ski. A short skin or boot pack from the bottom of the bowl to the ridge makes for quick laps before skiing back into Catherine's. Popular area - expect to see many people jumping cliffs. Although short, the chutes do slide and there are hazards present.
Difficult
Serious gradient of 30-38 degrees where a real risk of slipping exists.
