Starr Woods Map

Starr woods is one of the hardest unmarked glades at Stowe, it’s steep with many hidden obstacles to work around. Despite the challenges, it’s very popular among expert skiers. If you feel comfortable on Starr and want to jump in, Starr Woods is right there just waiting to be explored. It is possible to enter from the very top, but this entrance involves extremely tight woods so this way is not as popular. Most people enter from S53. This entrance involves decently spaced hardwood trees that a much more rippable. If you poke around you can find a few good cliff drops. Lower down there is a decent sized cliff band with an ice flow, just above Phil’s Zuggy. After that you have the option of skiing more natural glades or conecting to Lower Starr.
