A short steep glade, Dick's Face is accessed from Double Black Diamond Terrain. This run was named for former patroller and long-time local Dick Reininger. For non-experts looking for a challenge, follow Exterminator Ridge past Snag Chutes and Neanderthal. Dick's Face is the "nose" at the end of the ridge. It is steep at the top, but opens into well-spaced trees. This glade often holds fresh snow longer than its neighbors. This slope is avalanche prone, and even a small slough can push a skier/rider into a tree well. Ski/ride with a partner.
