Eagle's Drop Map

A short, steep gladed face, Eagle's Drop offers an alternative to the lower half of Exterminator. Access from the top of Exterminator, following along the skier's left side near the Rock Face ropeline. Note that Rock Face is a permanently closed area. Ducking the rope here can result in losing skiing privileges for a year and a large fine. The rope ends at Eagle's Drop. Watch for a cornice that builds just below the end of the rope. To the skier's right of Eagle's Drop proper are several open shots known collectively as Lower Exterminator Ridge. Thanks to prevailing winds, the snow is usually deeper here on a powder day.
