Sheep Lake Couloir Via Bowla Bowl Loop Map

This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between December and April. From a low point of 1.3 km to the maximum altitude of 2.1 km, the route covers 13 km, 1460 vertical metres of ascent and 1459 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 5.1 and Labande grade 5. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

There are two main routes for Sheep Lake Couloir when approaching from Crystal Ski Resort. This route is via Bowla Bowl and makes for a scenic loop through the Crystal Lakes, Sheep Lake, and Sourdough areas.
