“Phillip's Ridge is to Jackson what Mill Creek is to Teton Valley–a classic must-ride!” writes Chris Daniels on Singletracks.com.

Description

Mountain Bike the Tetons characterizes it as “an instant classic, this cross-country trail has awesome tread variety with fun berms, both long and short switchbacks, flowy buff and rocky challenge. The downhill seems to go on forever, which allows for numerous opportunities to soak up the view.”

Phillip’s Ridge can be ridden in a variety of fashions. It can be shuttled from Teton Pass for a mostly downhill ride. Or, opt to pedal up Phillip’s Ridge, and then drop quickly down the Phillip’s Canyon Trail. Finally, this sweet singletrack is even great as an out-and-back ride.

While it used to be very technical, in recent years trail “maintenance” has made Phillip’s Ridge much more approachable and rideable in certain sections.
