Mellow, fun and low-commitment skiing.
Freeride Skiing Easy
This is about as cruisy as off piste skiing gets, with mellow terrain being accessed by a short drag lift which you can lap all day.
Take the Gaiskogel lift up and then ski back across it to access a gentle, open slope that hangs above the Kühtai valley. Drift down and right across the slope down to some slightly steeper terrain through small trees and into a gully. Ski down the gully and exit it when you still have enough height to traverse back to the lift!
There are countless variations to this route, all of which are fun and easy. There is some exceptional tree terrain skier's right of this line but descending it will entail a short walk back to the lift because it finishes below the foot of the lift. There's a road back to the lift so the walk is not too arduous, and it's well worth it for the skiing you get as a reward.
However, if you really don't want to do any walking at all, stick to this line or anything to the left of it and you are in for a fun day.
