KaiserBahn Trees Map

For sun, fun terrain and stress-free laps, this is where you need to head. The terrain skier's right of the KaiserBahn lift line is excellent and despite facing south, the high altitude of this route means that it often holds good snow for several days after a storm.

Description

From the top of the KaiserBahn lift, ski due south and stay just skier's left of the lift cables, following some rolling terrain down to just before the slope beneath the cables steepens. As you sense that the terrain is steepening, push out hard right to reach some brilliant, consistent slopes through small trees. The terrain is just begging to be skied fast...so oblige! There are plenty of good lines to choose from and no nasty surprises (like cliff bands) lurking so explore to your heart's content.

Once the slope begins to roll out and mellow, start drifting left back towards the foot of the lift. The final section of terrain back to the lift is rolling and great fun, but be careful not to get stuck in a dip by accident - there are a few around they are a pain to get out of!
