From the top of Peak Chair take Matthews Traverse and cut off skiers left to The Cirque double black. Once out of the narrow straight-line of The Cirque, traverse high skiers left for about 250m (no fall zone) underneath large cliffs to your left and above a 70ft cliff band on your right. Once you can see Peak Chair again the face will become apparent in front of you. This convex slope has some 5-30ft cliffs with excellent steep landings on the skiers right however stay skiers left and you should be in for a good few face shots on a powder day. For a line with no cliffs, ski diagonally left pointing towards Peak Chair. Once off the face, enjoy the snow back down to Peak Chair for your next lap! - Often there will only be one or two lines on East Face for a good few days - Make them yours!
