Fun gladed skiing, often with great snow
Freeride Skiing Difficult
Dropping into West Bowl from West Ridge, this is some of the best gladed skiing off Peak Chair. Christmas Trees offers a great pitch from small stunted trees to bigger established ones letting you pick and choose your line and difficulty. Although a popular route which gets tracked quite quickly on a powder day, there are still goods to be found in here and even when the snow's not fresh it's still a fun line to ski! The further right you go, the bigger, tighter and steeper the trees get - there are also some cliffs in the depths of the far right trees too. Beware in the second half of the winter of avalanche debris in the bottom of West Bowl.
Difficult
Serious gradient of 30-38 degrees where a real risk of slipping exists.
