Escalator Map

Sunrise, Elevator and Escalator are three steep lines going from the top of West Ridge down towards Doom & Gloom. Escalator is the furthest and easiest of the three consisting of a 30m steep pitch which is fairly wide and unexposed. This is a great pitch to practice your steep narrow skiing on, and a good alternative to gunning down Sunrise or Elevator. Sometimes the pitch can leave some debris at the base. Elevator can be compared to other double blacks such as Cockalorum, Upper McConkeys and Sapphire Bowl.
