Sunrise, Elevator and Escalator are three steep lines going from the top of West Ridge down towards Doom & Gloom. Although a little wider and shorter than neighbouring chute Sunrise, Elevator is still takes some guts to take on. The entrance varies depending on the snow year and which way the wind has been blowing so scout it out before you ski in. The whole ridge is a little rocky so wait for good coverage before you give this one a go. A good run out and a great adrenaline rush! Similar chutes include Sunrise, Sunbowl Straightline, Sapphire Straightline,The Pencil and eventually... The Coffin!
