Description

The Creek Zone was just opened in 2018, so this whole side of the mountain provides a slightly newer-school ride feel… that is, except for this run, the obligatory tech line in the new zone.

The upper portion of this run, Delayed Fuse, is relatively fresh singletrack, but the lower section—BC’s trail—integrates some legacy trail that has long existed in this area.

Thanks to new construction, the upper section has a few berms and bigger, built-up features. In places, the dirt even feels a bit loamy—a shocker in the Whistler Bike Park!

That said, overall this tech line is hairy—roots, drops, rocks, fall line singletrack… if you’ve ridden the other black diamond tech trails in the bike park you know the drill. Hang on tight, and get ready to go full send!

If at any point you feel in over your head, this tech line crosses the blue flow trails at multiple points, providing convenient bail out options.
